The Big Holiday Rushes: What to Expect
Valentine’s Day is the single busiest night of the year at Texas Roadhouse. I am not exaggerating when I say the wait can hit two hours. Mother’s Day is right behind it. Father’s Day is huge too, because what dad does not want steak? For all three, join the waitlist on the app before you leave home, and consider going at an off time like 4 PM. The food is the same, the wait is a fraction, and you might even catch Early Dine pricing on Valentine’s Day if you are seated by 5.
New Year’s Eve at Texas Roadhouse
New Year’s Eve is open and it is busy. A lot of people do an early steak dinner before their evening plans, which means the 4 to 6 PM window gets packed. If that is your plan, join the app waitlist early in the day. Some locations run special New Year’s Eve hours, so confirm with your store. And if you are hosting a New Year’s party at home, a couple of family packs ordered for afternoon pickup is a seriously underrated move.
One last tip: holiday weeks are also great for takeout. Order a family pack on the day before Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve and skip the cooking entirely. The kitchen will thank you for ordering early, and your family will thank you for the rolls.
